High-school sweethearts, Todd & Sarah eloped after college in 1988, and celebrated their 20th anniversary last fall on the campaign trail!
Todd (also known as "First Dude") is a proud native Alaskan (Yup'ik) and oil field production operator on the North Slope. He is an advocate for workforce development and vocational training, and a youth sports coach. Todd is also a four-time champion snowmachine racer in the Iron Dog, a 2,000 mile trek from Wasilla to Nome to Fairbanks.

Oldest son Track, 19, enlisted in the US Army on September 11, 2007, and is currently serving in Iraq with the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division.
Oldest daughter Bristol, 17, is mother to Sarah's first grandbaby, a boy named Tripp that was born in December 2008.
Middle daughter Willow, 14, is a teenage cutie and student in Wasilla.
Youngest daughter Piper is the 7-year-old charmer best known for giving her baby brother's head a spit-shine during their Mom's acceptance speech at the 2008 Republican National Convention!
Youngest son Trig, 10 months, is the adorable special needs infant that Todd & Sarah welcomed into their family last April 2008.

Update: Since the 2008 election, Sarah and Todd have added a daughter-in-law and another grandbaby to her beautiful and close-knit family. Trig is now attending school, Piper is a preteen, Willow and Bristol are young women successful in their own right, and Track is a Veteran, husband, and father.
